American Geography and Science Institute: Research and Corporate Solutions for Carbon reductions
Wildfires are getting larger and more devastating. One of the key factors contributing to wildfires is climate change, which has deepened droughts, lowered the mountaintop snowpack, making fire seasons longer, and increased dry lightning strikes that can trigger big fires in tinder-dry forests. Since the 1980s, climate change has roughly doubled the area of wildfires in the western U.S.
American Geography and Science Institute works with corporations for measurements and solution analysis for reducing their greenhouse impacts.
