Optional skills training — not a credential

Built-in outdoor grill with wave cooking grates and open hood
Open cookbox literacy — systems stacked in one appliance. Taxonomy starts by seeing the stack, not guessing a part.

This course teaches hire-ready repair helper fundamentals: safety and isolation, parts names, tools, ignition basics, burners, gas-path red lines, and honest handoff. Finishing gives a Certificate of Course Completion only — training proof, not a license and not a repair credential.

A grill on a patio is a stack of systems — fuel, ignition, burners, grease path, controls, and structure — not one black box. When a cook says “it won’t light,” that can mean no spark, no gas, clogged ports, a dead battery, or a grease fire that cooked the harness. Naming the system before turning a wrench is the habit this track builds.
