This notice describes how the American Grill Service Institute (“AGSI”) handles information when you use agsinstitute.org, create an account, purchase CGCT eligibility, take an exam, or use public verification tools.
Information we collect
Depending on what you do, we may collect account identity details (name, email), payment confirmation metadata from our processor, exam-session and score records needed to run the published scheme, government ID images when required for eligibility, and basic technical logs (IP, device/browser) for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use this information to operate certification eligibility, exams, credentials, and public verification; to process payments; to detect abuse; and to communicate about your account. We do not sell personal information.
Public verification
When a credential is active, limited public fields may appear on /verify and the /directory so customers can confirm status. Do not publish secrets or full ID images there.
