Founding Cohort: Level 1 Exam Access, Evaluation, and Credentialing (CGCT™)
Product Description
The AGSI Founding Cohort is a limited inaugural group of professionals granted early access to AGSI’s Level 1 certification pathway and long-term credentialing framework.
This product provides exam access and formal evaluation toward the Level 1 Certified Grill Cleaning Technician (CGCT)™ credential. Credentialing is awarded only upon successful completion of all requirements, including passing the examination and executing required certification agreements.
Certification Scope (Important)
This Founding Cohort product applies only to Level 1 certification:
Level 1: Certified Grill Cleaning Technician (CGCT)™
Registration for Level 2 certification:
Level 2: Certified Advanced Grill Service Technician (CAGST)™
will be made available after the Level 1 exam has been offered.
Founding Cohort members who later pursue Level 2 certification will be eligible for a reduced Founding Cohort rate of $199 for the full three-year certification term, contingent upon meeting eligibility requirements and passing the Level 2 examination.

Valid for three (3) years from issuance, subject to ongoing compliance.

Requirements to Earn and Maintain Credentialing
Credentialing is not automatic and requires:
Passing the applicable certification examination
Agreement to AGSI’s:
Code of Professional Conduct
Use of Credential & Marks Policy
Certification Maintenance & Continuing Education (CE) requirements
Ongoing compliance throughout the certification term
